Vacuum & Skin Packaging
真空パック / スキンパック
Skin Pack vacuum-seals the meat to its shape, minimizing drip loss and extending shelf life — ideal for retail. Barrier shrink bags handle large wholesale cuts with high-barrier protection for the next hot-water shrink step.
STEP 03
Hot-Water Shrink Tunnel
湯どおしシュリンカー
Vacuum-sealed product is briefly immersed in ~80°C hot water, causing the film to fully conform to the meat. Eliminates air gaps, reduces oxidation, provides surface sanitization, and decreases packaging damage risk during transport.
STEP 04
Blast / Quick Freezing
急速冷凍
Rapidly passes through the maximum ice-crystal formation zone (-1°C to -5°C) within 30 minutes. Microscopic ice crystals preserve texture, flavor, and nutrition — ensuring Wagyu quality survives long-distance international shipping.

All slaughter and processing of Wagyu beef for export is carried out exclusively at establishments approved by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan (MAFF). KOWA BUSSAN, as the export trading company, handles sourcing from approved establishments and all export-related operations.

Reference yield for normal spec is 72%. Yield varies by cut, grade, and trim spec (fat cover). Please confirm in advance.
Parts or Full Set
Whether ordering specific cuts (loin, rib, rump, etc.) or a full set of all primal cuts, all shipments go out as box meat.

Network of MAFF-Approved Export Establishments
We work with MAFF-approved export establishments tailored to each destination (Taiwan, Thailand, UAE, Hong Kong, Singapore, etc.), handling only products that meet the import requirements of the destination country.
Traceability by Individual Identification Number
Every animal is assigned an individual identification number, enabling full traceability from birth and farm of origin to the slaughterhouse.
Transparent Export Documentation
We prepare all documents required by the destination country — including export veterinary health certificates, health certificates, and certificates of origin — ensuring smooth customs clearance.
